What information do Ridge collect?
In order for Ridge to provide our services of hiring out consultants to our customers or directly with Ridge we will store the following information from you in our database.

Such information may include:

  • Name
  • Contact information (address, phone number, e-mail address)
  • Date of birth
  • Education and employment history
  • Work-related skills and experience
  • Professional credentials or licenses
  • Any other information contained on an individual’s Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Citizenship and work authorization status
  • Relevant health-related information
  • Next of kin or emergency contact information
  • Information provided by references
  • Information regarding your career interests, preferences, and qualifications.

How do we use this information?
Ridge will use the information we collect in order to recruit, assess, and match candidates with potential positions or assignments, offer candidates placement at its customers, respond to inquiries, or perform other tasks that are necessary when acting as an employer or potential employer. 

We will use these data to contact you directly for information about our company and job openings that match your stated preferences, qualifications, and/or profile.

Ridge will retain your personal information for as long as is necessary to provide you with the services requested, except where retention of personal information is necessary for compliance with a law, regulation, or other legal authority, or is otherwise permitted to be maintained for other legal purposes.

How long do we keep your information?
Ridge will keep your personal information only for as long as it is necessary. We will abide to different laws who require us to keep different data for different periods of time. The Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, require us to keep work-seeker records for at least one year from

(a) the date of their creation or

(b) after the date on which we last provide you with work-finding services.

We retain work finding service related records for a period of three years.  Should we have no contact with you during that period then your record will be deleted from our recruitment database.

Your choice!
The amount of personal information you are required to supply when requesting our services will be limited to what is relevant to supply such services. You have the right to request access to, withdraw your consent to the use and processing of, and request the correction of inaccuracies or erasure of your information that Ridge maintains about you. Because such information is necessary to the performance of recruitment, placement, and employment services that Ridge provides to you, any request to withdraw consent for processing, or request erasure of your information may result in Ridge being unable to continue providing its services such as recruitment, placement, or employment.
